NGI TETRA & NGIatlantic joint workshop for Advisory Board Groups

Overview

TETRA and NGIatlantic.eu have joined forces to organise an on-line TETRA Advisory Board / NGIatlantic.eu External Advisory Group workshop to be held on 24th November 2020. The two initiatives, part of the NGI Programme of the European Commission, have joint forces  and invited the members of their expert groups, including  members from the EU and the US, to share a common vision on the services delivered by the projects and on the progress of the experiments funded by the Open Calls.

About NGIatlantic.eu

From April 2020 until November 2021, NGIatlantic.eu (ngiatlantic.eu) will launch 5 Open Calls for Proposals, with a total 2.8 Million Euros budget. The calls are for European organisations willing to carry out high-quality experimentation of Research & Innovation results, with a US-based counterpart, on NGI experimental platforms.

NGIatlantic.eu is a Reserarch and Innovation Action implemented by a consortium of five partners, from Europe and the US: Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland, project coordinator), Trust-IT (Italy), EURESCOM (Germany), Rutgers University (USA), and University of Utah (USA).

About TETRA

TETRA (business.ngi.eu) is one of the coordination actions of the NGI initiative and provides business support to third parties awarding NGI open calls issued by NGI-TRUST, NGI0-PET, LEDGER, NGI0-DISCOVERY and by those projects who will funded under H2020 call ICT-24-2019. The business support provided by TETRA will be deployed to beneficiaries as a tailored master-plan, driving the NGI initiative from an R&D stage up to Go-To Market stage.

TETRA is run by Civitta Eesti ASEuropean Startup Network, Startup Division, The Intellectual Property Institute of Luxembourg, Q-PLAN International Advisors, FVA sas di Louis Ferrini & C, Pedal Consulting, GLOBAZ SA, BIC Bratislava spol, s.r.o.

Both projects have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme funded by the European Commission  to build the NGI flagship and support the NGI vision.

Purpose of the workshop

The workshop will be the opportunity to discuss about the priority coverage areas for the upcoming NGIatlantic.eu open calls, expanding them from the results coming from the NGI topics issued from ICT-24-2018 to include additional topics in ICT-24-2019; and about the business acceleration support that TETRA is providing as part of its mandate, services that could benefit the experiments funded by NGIatlantic.eu, too.

The workshop is closed and limited to the project management boards and the expert groups. The outcomes of the event will be publicly available afterwards.
