Custom-made by one of the European SMEs in the project, Trust-IT, the NGIatlantic.eu TRUST-Grants™ Platform is at the core of the engagement, outreach and exploitation strategy of the project, it is the technological engine behind the Open Call process and the arena where EU and US research and industry stakeholders join forces on NGI experiments.

Today NGIatlantic.eu is excited to open the first of 5 Open Calls for proposals with an overall budget of 2.8 million Euro. European organisations can use this funding to carry out research & innovation activities in collaboration with US counterparts on NGI experimental platforms. The purpose is to incentivize collaboration between EU and US research teams to meet the technical challenges posed by the vision of a more human-centric, Next Generation Internet.
