TETRA and NGIatlantic.eu have joined forces to organise an on-line TETRA Advisory Board / NGIatlantic.eu External Advisory Group workshop to be held on 24th November 2020. The two initiatives, part of the NGI Programme of the European Commission, have joint forces and invited the members of their expert groups, including members from the EU and the US, to share a common vision on the services delivered by the projects and on the progress of the experiments funded by the Open Calls.

Since 2012, Fed4FIRE+ and its predecessor Fed4FIRE

During this session, a number of the third-party projects funded by two of the NGI RIAs, NGIatlantic.eu (EU-US collaboration on NGI) and NGI Pointer (Open Internet architecture renovation), and an EU - US initiative funded by NGI Explorers (EU Fellowships to the US), will present their project ideas to the global audience of the 24 hour-long digitalaroundtheworld.org event.

The virtual workshop on Oct 14, 11:00AM-6:15PM EDT is aimed at discussing emerging research challenges in wireless networking, leading to an identification of experimental requirements to be served by the COSMOS testbed. This will be followed by a tutorial session for users of COSMOS, to be held on Oct 15 from 1:00-5:00PM EDT.

This year the NGI Policy Summitwill be held online on 28 and 29 September. Bringing together a coalition of internet changemakers, the Summit will lay out an ambitious European vision for the future internet and explore the policy interventions and technical solutions that can help get us there.

This webinar will focus on interested applicants, providing them an excellent opportunity to present and discuss their ideas for the three NGI topics introduced in the second NGIatlantic.eu Open Call.
